Robert Glenn Lawler is an American former professional mixed martial artist. A professional fighter from 2001 to 2023, he most notably competed in the Welterweight and Middleweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was the former UFC Welterweight Champion. He formerly competed in the Middleweight division of EliteXC, where he was the longest-reigning EliteXC Middleweight Champion. He also competed in PRIDE FC, Strikeforce, the International Fight League (IFL), KOTC, SuperBrawl, and ICON Sport, where he was their Middleweight Champion.
