Fans Predict Tatsuro Taira Vs. Hyun Sung Park – ‘Going To Get Exposed'

Tatsuro Taira will headline against Hyun Sung Park at UFC Vegas 108 on August 2, as fans picked their winner.

Tatsuro Taira’s original opponent, Amir Albazi, withdrew from the fight for undisclosed reasons, opening the door for Hyun Sung Park to step in. Taira, who hasn’t fought since October 2024, will return to the Octagon looking to rebound from his first UFC loss. Taira’s undefeated streak was ended by Brandon Royval in his last fight, a setback that left his record at 6-1 in the UFC. Prior to that, Taira had finished four of his six opponents. Now, he aims to prove that loss was a blip.

Park is undefeated with a 10-0 record. Despite the short notice, Park will fancy his chances. He comes into the fight on a three-win streak, with all victories coming by stoppages against SeungGuk Choi, Shannon Ross, and Carlos Hernandez. Originally scheduled to fight Steve Erceg, Park now has the opportunity to showcase his skills on the biggest stage. Here is how the fans saw the fight playing out.

"Obviously, the opponent changed on short notice, last-minute, but I’ve been preparing very well together with my team. My team has been very supportive. I’ve been working on my strength to get stronger and get better. I train with a lot of fighters from my team, so I was actually prepared to fight anyone. I’m ready for this fight," Taira stated

"Since this was such a short-notice fight, actually there was no camp, no preparation. So, I’m just gonna fight with my regular skills. He’s a good MMA fighter, but not too great, so I think I’ll be able to beat him. Tatsuro is a tricky fighter, so this makes me really excited and I’m ready for it. I will smash Taira Tatsuro. I will break him," Park said
