Hearn Calls Out White For Public Debate On Fury-Joshua
Eddie Hearn has reversed course on Dana White's involvement in the Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua heavyweight fight, now saying he welcomes a public confrontation with the UFC president before the December bout.
The Matchroom promoter, who previously argued White had no contractual right to participate in producing or promoting the fight without his consent, told iFL TV he expects the UFC boss to show up in Cardiff and wants to settle their dispute on camera. "I got a lot to say with him on an open forum," Hearn said, per Sherdog.
White's Production Role Remains In Dispute
White has claimed repeatedly that he and Turki Alalshikh are working together on the event, including statements that UFC's production staff will run the broadcast. Hearn insists those arrangements breach the contracts already in place.
Fury and Joshua meet on Dec. 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, with the press conference expected in the days before the opening bell.
