Taylor Accuses White Of Mistreating Black UFC Fighters, McGregor Teases His Return
MMA fighter and boxer Anthony Taylor has accused Dana White of mistreating black fighters in the UFC.
Those comments came in the aftermath of Sean O’Malley stating what White had told him after he stopped Aljamain Sterling in the second round.
O’Malley confirmed that he would make big bucks, according to White, by going so far as to state the following: "[White told me] Kid, you have no idea how much money you’re gonna make," O’Malley
After all, O’Malley became the new bantamweight champion to end Sterling’s nine-fight-win streak.
Those comments did not sit well with Taylor, who uncharacteristically questioned the motives of White in his reasoning for saying that.

This is not the first time that a UFC fighter has claimed this. Tyron Woodley, the former welterweight champion, alleged that there was racist behavior directed towards him in the aftermath of his gold at 170 pounds.
Woodley On White
"When you say to me ‘Tyron, you are well spoken’, what does that mean? Does that mean I’m well spoken comparable to all the mixed martial artists, the 500 UFC fighters on the roster? Or does that mean as a black male in America?
"When you say I’m a freak athlete, does that mean I don’t work hard, that I’m going to fade in the later rounds? That I don’t have great cardio, that I don’t have a great skill set? It comes off to me… it almost sounds barbaric, like ‘hey, you’re strong, you knock people out, but if it gets to the later rounds you might get tired, you might fade and all those muscles come at a cost’," Woodley said
McGregor’s Return
Meanwhile, Conor McGregor has hinted at a return to the UFC once again this year with a fight against Michael Chandler.
The ‘Notorious’ was linked with making a comeback in 2023, but so far, that has not gone to plan.
The Irishman didn’t enroll into USDA which requires fighters to submit two negative samples over a six-month period before they can fight.
Although there are exemptions around that, the fact of the matter is that McGregor didn’t get one. Therefore, the timeline suggests that McGregor has not done enough to fight this year.
And yet, the Irishman has once again teased a comeback.
"UFC 296: Chandler v McGregor, 9pm on Saturday 16th December 2023. 111 days, 18 hours, 42 minutes and 13 seconds", McGregor
However, in reality, this simply appears to be a case of McGregor trying to hype up the fight and his name. After all, McGregor has been out of the cage since 2021 since his loss to Dustin Poirier. And there is no getting away from that.
